as some of you must know i enjoy sewing, a lot!
i found this super-duper site that gives directions to make a jean skirt out of an old pair of jeans

the other day she was packing for camp and brought a bunch of suit cases down from the attic to find just the right one to use, you all know how she is!!
so here she is, she has to bring them all back up again but she got stuck- she couldn't get the suitcase up the door-window-thing that leads up there. I've got to admit it's not easy, I've done it more than once.

she's leaving for camp and will be gone on her birthday so we celebrated it ahead of time

we had a blast over there going on all the rides, it was great!! and we also got to meet some of our favorite comicbook characters ^^

so as i said we did enjoy our time out!!

july 14 : "fête nationale française"
but also the day when we all went to the Andre Citroen park in Paris.
We were out to have a nice little picnic, play in the watter and lay in the sun.
That's kind of what happened only there was a little more action than that!!
So here's the story : we were playing tag in the watter spinklers and we knew it was slippery, we all fell at least once before. But this time as Isaac ran after e i slipped o a step and fell and opened up the top of my ankle. It wasn't too bad i thought but dad went looking for a pharmacy to get bandages. Good luck finding anything open on a holiday in Paris. Then after lunch we found a hospital near by and so i got my foot stitched up but the hardest was still the way home. Isaac and Lydia were so kind though, they carried me a little ways once in a while.

yesterday we went to Parc Astérix with the whole fam. (since Lydia just got back ^^)
it was so fun but very tiring (no clue how to spell that lol!) so today was nice: we went out to get lydia some gifts for her birthday, then we had somme spa time together. It was the first time i really did something like that (cuz that's not really the kind of stuff i usually enjoy doing) but i really liked it... it's just the kind of thing that refreshes you !!
so after that we celebrated her b.day and we will watch a movie soon.

en ce moment c'est un peu une transition pour moi : je cherche un traivail pour l'année scolaire qui vient et en même temps je prépare un concours pour entrer en formation d'auxiliaire de puériculture. Je pense que c'est ce que je vais tenter sauf si je trouve autre chause qui me plairait mieux, mais je ne pense pas.
